8-Hour Certification Course Schedule

  • 8-Hour Certification Course
  • Prior Registration Required: $130 per person
    Fee includes Self-Study Test Book, Classroom Review, and Exam.
    (Does not include State of Illinois’s fee for 5-year license.)

New Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) regulations require that Certificate candidates MUST attend an approved 8-hour Food Protection Manager Course.

To Attend Class: Enrollment and payment MUST be received before specified date for class to have necessary class materials available. (GCHD fees do not include State of Illinois charges for 5-year license.) A photo ID must be presented at classvalid Driver’s License, Secretary of State ID card, school ID card, firearm owners ID (FOID) card only if signatures and photo are shown, military ID card or a current passport are acceptable as photo identification.

Courses can be paid by cash, check, major credit, debit and prepaid debit card brands. If paying with a credit or debit card, payment can be made on-site or on-line. Go to Enter the Pay Location Code (PLC) #7912 and complete requested information. Please be aware fees do apply.
