Under the authority of the Tanning Facility Permit Act (210 ILCS 145/1) and the Tanning Facilities Code (77 Ill. Adm. Code 795), the Greene County Health Department inspects all tanning facilities in Greene County at least once a year. The inspector works with tanning facilities that are not in compliance with the requirements of the Tanning Act and Code to correct any violations and investigates complaints pertaining to tanning facilities.
